This Playlist challenges your physical capacities by working on your leg muscles. You should be comfortable with all the previous playlists before embarking on this. A theory series that deals with all the various terminologies and concepts in Bharatanatyam has been introduced alongside the second Jathi of the Varnam

  • Musical Warm-up 3

    This Warm-up series reinforces ideas that have already been introduced in the previous instructed series. It is recommended to start on the musical warm-ups only once you have practised the instructed series over several months, so you already have internal awareness of alignment.

  • Warm up flow

    This routine approaches your warm-up in a fun, dynamic way. It opens up your body through repetition while paying attention to alignment. You must have been practising all the instructed warm-ups prior to this alongside the first few strength routines in order to follow with ease.

  • Thattu Mettadavu 1 : Tishram

    This Adavu has two components, a tapping action with one foot that comprises of the Thattu, and the Udgattitham action on the other leg with a heel. Sometimes both the tap and the Udgattitam can happen on the same foot, depending on the Jathi.
