The leg positions according to the Abhinaya Darpana are very different from the Natyaśaśtra. Mandala, itself has a different meaning in both the texts. Please remember to note that this śloka is specifically from the Abhinaya Darpana.
स्थानकं चायतालीढम् प्रेण्खणप्रेरितानि च
प्रत्यालीढम् स्वस्तिकं च मोटितम् समसूचिका
पार्श्वसूचीति च दश मण्डलानीरितानीह
stanakanća āyata ālidam prenkhanam preritāniića
pratyālidam swasthikamća motitham samasooćika
parshvasooćiitića dasha mandala neeritāniha”
1. Sthaanaka – standing with Samapada and hands in Ardhachandra touching the hips
2. Aayata – sitting in Araimandi and hands in Pataka opened to the sides
3. Aaleedham – left foot placed out with knee bent (like a lunge) and left hand stretched holding Shikhara and right hand holding Katakhamukha in front of the chest
4. Pratyaleedham – opposite of Aaleedham
5. Prenkhanam – sitting in Araimandi and stretching one leg to the side in Nattu with Kurma hasta
6. Prerita – sitting in Vaishaka sthana with Shikhara in left hand in front of the chest and right hand stretched with Pataka hasta
7. Svastika – right foot put across left and right hand put across left in Pataka and vice versa
8. Motita – like mandi adavu with Tripataka hastas stretched in Natyarambha
9. Samasoochi – both the knees and toes touching the earth
10. Paarshvasoochi – Samasoochi with one knee up
